Your Supplemental Instructor!

Hey Everybody!

I'm Maya Coffey and I will be your Chemistry SI. I am a junior education major here at Tarleton and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. I am a first year RL on campus and a second year SI and I love both positions immensely. I have been wanting to be a kindergarten teacher for almost a decade and I am super excited to get hands on experience with you guys! If you have any questions pertaining to Chemistry or even the Education program, please reach out to me! I am so excited to be working with you guys! Please sign up for my remind and ROLL TEXANS!

I am REQUIRED by law under Title IX to report any instances that compromise a student's well-being, so please be aware of what you share with me

about the course...

This course may be trying at times, but I truly feel as though this course was essential into becoming the SI that I am today, and the future-teacher I want to become. There will be times when you probably want to throw in the towel but each and every one of you can do this. This course requires grit, time, and a lot of brain power but as long as you put in your very best effort, you will be totally fine. Mrs. Adams is a fantastic professor who genuinely wants you to be the best teacher you can possibly be and she is more than willing to help you get there. Please reach out to me if you feel overwhelmed because I'd love to work through your struggles with you. I am here for you guys.
